  • Where can I fish at quabbin reservoir?

    In addition to shoreline fishing, Quabbin Reservoir allows boat fishing, as long as the watercraft has a Quabbin Boat Seal to signify a DCR approved decontamination process. Boat rentals are available on-site, seven days a week. For more information, contact the Visitor Center at 413-323-7221.
  • Can I swim at Quabbin Reservoir?

    Because it is primarily a source for public drinking water, Quabbin Reservoir is closed to any activity that could pollute the supply system. Direct water contact activities, including wading and swimming, are prohibited. Dogs are also forbidden from any DCR property associated with Quabbin Reservoir.
