Worcester Art Museum: Paintings, Exhibits and Artifacts

Opened in 1898, Worcester Art Museum houses more than 35,000 works of art dating from antiquity to modern day. The second largest art museum in all of New England, this popular attraction includes a vast assemblage of rare sculptures, paintings, photography, drawings, prints, decorative arts and new media. View fascinating pieces by Sargent, Monet, Goya, Gauguin and Whistler, along with seldom-seen gems, masterworks and important works on loan.

Open Wednesday - Friday, Sunday: 11 a.m. - 5 p.m.; Also open Saturday, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. and the 3rd Thursday of every month, 11 a.m. - 8 p.m.

    Worcester Art Museum offers a comfortable, safe environment where kids can learn about art. It also offers family tours, youth and adult classes, a scholarship program, family weekends and classes designed for young children. For more information, call 508.799.4406.
